Meet Snoop. He’s your ordinary American: lazy, broke and egotistical. He thinks that, with no real training whatsoever, he can make a difference in public schools. He thinks that he can teach better than the professional teachers.
I’m Snoop, and I may be wrong about that. I might not be a better teacher than the average public educator, but judging by the state of the union, I sure won’t be any worse.
So follow me on my adventure from the world of business, through the Transition to Teaching Program and directly to the front lines in America’s War on Education. Let’s find out what’s wrong with a system that was once what made America great, together. There’ll be plenty of jokes, and an occasional IED (Improvised Educational Device) along the way.
But there won’t be any burning paper bags full of doodie. Not on my watch!
