Yes, donate! I think we all have an understanding of how poorly paid soldiers are, whether they are fighting the War on Education or somewhere else. It takes time to research, plan and write these enormously witty vignettes for you.
Why Donations?
I find making donations satisfying and I think you should, too. I personally donated $100 to each of Lawrence Watt-Evans’ online serials, and regularly purchase products and make donations to independent web comics and writers. The way I see it, this is my way of encouraging the things that I like instead of the things that Ford, Coke and American Idol producers like.
For a mere dollar, you can be a patron of the arts just like the great Medici family of Renaissance Italy. There is no better bargain to be had! If that does not sway you, then here is a bulleted list.
- Donations are requested but entirely optional. If you are bothered by it, please ignore the button.
- If you donate $25 you will receive an autographed copy of the published Soulbound. It is likely to be a POD publication.
- It takes time to make good words write. <–See? The greater the donations, the more time to hone my craft and entertain you with amazing wit.
- I have a writing addiction that I support by teaching. Guess how much teaching pays? I’d like to change that. Your donations help.
- This site does cost money to maintain.
- The time that I spend here I could be spending tutoring kids with learning disabilities. It pays pretty well, and they are great kids. I’d like to have the time to donate to them, which I could, if you donated $1 million.

Oh except that I haven’t found a way to accept donations without giving away my secret identity, and thus getting fired.
